KNEE REPLACEMENT

Total Knee Replacement is one of the most commonly performed orthopedic surgery. It involves replacing the articular surfaces (femoral condyles and tibial plateau) of the knee joint with smooth metal and highly cross-linked polyethylene plastic. It helps to relieve pain and restore function in severely diseased knee joints.

With modern pain management protocols, small incisions and use of Computer Navigation, recovery is very fast after knee replacement. Patients are mobile very next day.
